Artificial intelligence holds promise for cybersecurity, but there are reasons not to rush it, North Carolina Chief Risk Officer Maria Thompson said during an AI Week event.

The new center will help state agencies incorporate AI into their long-term plans, following the success of a similar strategy to encourage cloud adoption.
